About us

We are the conduit between wildlife properties, ai services, and drone imaging

Passion for wildlife and technology is what brought us together. A purpose bigger than ourselves is what drives us forward.

Throughout my years in the industry I have immersed myself in the contrasting challenges and beauty of conservation ecology. I have emerged with a deep understanding of how to implement sustainable monitoring programmes to achieve evidence-based conservation management. Habitat Horizons is an opportunity to connect and share this knowledge.

Our Vision for the Future

Words from our founding ecologist

Habitat Horizons emerged from a passion for conservation and a frustration dealing with the avalanche of challenges. Emerging conservation tech means these challenges could be revisited through a new lens of opportunity. The success of many protected areas has turned into a potential threat. Over-abundance of wildlife and the restriction of these animals to freely move between areas to access resources is threatening habitats and biodiversity. Accurate data is thus required to manage growing wildlife populations and mitigate risks.
